ABOUT

This page is dedicated to explaining what the Local Cultural Education Partnership (LCEP) in Lincolnshire represents.

This website is an attempt to provide clarity, transparency and access for the widest possible community of practice so you can be informed about the direction of travel, the intent and the achievements of this process.

The LCEP is funded in Lincolnshire through Arts Council England and is managed by The Lincolnshire Music Service who have been managing the LCEP process since 2018 after taking over from Magna Vitae in East Lindsey who were the previous responsible authority.

Cultural Education Partnerships
The Story

"The idea for Local Cultural Education Partnerships was developed in partnership with the Department for Education (DfE) in 2015, with the aim of improving the alignment of cultural education of young people. Pilot LCEPs were launched in Great Yarmouth, Bristol, and Barking & Dagenham. Since then, the success of these partnerships has inspired the emergence of 140 LCEPs across England."
